Looking at the serifs that were created by the Baskerville typeface, I took liberty in playing around with the serifs on the L and the H. I enjoyed playing with the rotation of the letters, and creating the illusion that the letter inside the black letter was still readable yet visually appealing to the eye. Some letters are harder to read within the combinations, but they are still pleasing to look at.

I took time experimenting with different combinations in Illustrator (some of the combinations came from my sketches.)
